Disallowed from canceling Elite free trial before being charged

On my iOS device I went into Apple ID settings and managed my subscriptions. HuntWise is unable to be canceled. I went online to HuntWise and it specifically states that you are unable to cancel a “free trial” until you are charged. I tried the same thing in the app. Totally unprofessional. Marketing is one thing, but straight up deceiving is another.
